 2014-2015 Hockey Season Registration

All players wanting to attend Twins tryouts must register selecting the AA option with their home area association (South Winnipeg Hockey Association or Fort Garry North Hockey Association) prior to the start of Twins tryouts. 

If you are released from AAA or high school tryouts and are not registered prior to the start of Twins tryouts you will not be allowed to attend tryouts.If you are selected to one of those teams and will not play AA, A1, A2 or A3 a refund will be provided by your area association including Twins tryout fee.

Twins 2014 4x4 Registration Closes August 22nd

4x4 Schedules and teams are now posted.

Please contact Twins 4x4 Director if group is full to be placed on waiting list as we do have last minute cancellations each year.

The Twins 4x4 Conditioning Camp consists of 6 one hour scrimmages at a cost of $165.00. Each player receives a Twins 4x4 practice jersey to keep.

The Twins AA Hockey Program will be running 4x4 Conditioning Camps in the following 7 age categories:

Minor Peewee (10 & 11 year olds - 2004 & 2003 birth year) - 1 Skater and 3 Goalie spots remaining

Major Peewee (12 year olds - 2002 birth year) - 5 Skater and 2 Goalie spots remaining

Minor Bantam (13 year olds - 2001 birth year) - Skaters Full - Goalies Full

Major Bantam (14 year olds - 2000 birth year) - Skaters Full - 4 goalie spots remaining

Major Midget (15 -17 year olds - 1999, 1998 & 1997 birth year) - Skaters Full - 2 Goalie spots remaining

Female Peewee (10, 11 & 12 year olds - 2004, 2003 & 2002 birth year) - Skaters Full - 3 Goalie spots remaining

Female Bantam/Midget (13 - 17 year olds - 2001 to 1997 birth year) - 1 Skater spot remaining - Goalies Full

All players are restricted to participating in the age grouping appropriate to their birth year. 

Twins 4x4 is strictly non-contact at all age groups.

Registration open until Aug 19th. Space is limited so register early.

Peewee Twins Win City Championship!

Midget Twins Win Tier II Championship

The Twins Midget Boys entered a tournament in South Bend, IN. Feb 14-18th and won the Tier II Championship.  The tournament was played at Notre Dame University.  It was a great way to bring the team together before the playoffs and everyone has a blast.  Winning made it even more fun!

The Peewee Twins win Regina Peewee Classic Tournament!!!!!

After going 5 wins and no losses and out scoring their opponents 45 to 8 the Peewee Twins pushed through the round robin and playoff portion of the 32 team Western Canadian Premiere Peewee Classic Tournament to face the 2013 champions from Yorkton. After an exciting 3 periods the teams were forced to overtime where Brayden Foreman scored the winner to capture the championship. Congrats players and coaches.

Peewee Female Twins at WickFest

In November, our very own Winnipeg Female Twins Peewee Team joined another 64 teams from around the world for The 2013 Wickenheiser World Female Hockey Festival (AKA WickFest) held at the Winsport facilities in Calgary, Alberta. The girls traveled, competed, played and made memories from the time they got on the bus November 21st to their return home November 24th – it was filled with everything that makes a tournament great!   As a team, they further developed their hockey skills and experienced very challenging and healthy competition against four other well-matched teams.  Click here for the full story.
