Midget Twins - Koats For Kids
Once again our annual Koats for Kids clothing drive and volunteer morning was a success. Over the Christmas season the Midget Twins boys team collected a variation of warm winter mitts, scarves, jackets, snowpants, boots, toques and gloves to donate to Manitoba’s less fortunate children and teenagers. Upon collection, the team spent a Saturday morning sorting, organizing and packaging up the clothing for appropriate distribution. The highlight of the morning included greeting Mr. Kevin Ross at the side door of Koats for Kids and helping unload his eight garbage bags full of donations. Overall, a very successful and helpful clothing drive/event.

Manitoba Moose Fundraiser

Thanks to all who participated in the Manitoba Moose Fundraiser.  The event raised $1814 for "Miles for Marnie" between 6 Twins teams (Peewee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Female Peewee, Female Bantam and Female Midget) and 2 Timbit teams (SWHA 5/6 Canucks & FGNHA 5/6 Stingers).  259 Tickets were sold for the Moose game on December 16th.

"Miles for Marnie" Fundraiser

Bantam Twins Fundraiser - Miles for Marnie raised over $5,000.

The winner of the 50/50 was Trevor Buchberger, Twin’s President who donated the $173 back to the fundraiser!

Thank you to the St. James Canadian’s Hockey Team for their support and THANK YOU to everyone that came out and also for those of you that weren’t able to make it but still contributed.

As Brian would do in ending his emails with an inspirational quote……

We make a living by what we get, but we make a LIFE by what we give (Winston Churchill)

On behalf of the Bantam Twins Boys – a great big THANK YOU!
